There've also been many improvements of small and large done to the boat with love that are not mentioned here.

You are welcome to have a chat and ask any questions you might have.

Katsastusluokka 2. (Rannikko)

Finnish yearly inspection class 2 (Offshore)

Hull

In excellent shape

Complete and thorough sanding and repainting job done in 2023

2 (almost 3) layers of Hempel Underwater Primer

2 layers of Hempel Classic antifouling

(it takes about 1 liters of paint per layer for the whole hull)

Massive bathing platform at the stern, somewhat occupied by the windvane

6 seacocks in top shape:

Starboard deck and cockpit drainage

Port deck and cockpit drainage

Galley sink drainage

Engine cooling seawater intake

Heads seawater in

Heads out

Cockpit seats renovated in 2024 (it was quite a job)

Mast

Original boom was replaced by Selden alternative with 1-line reefing system, 2 reefs (in-boom outhaul)

An adapter was installed at the mast in 2024 to allow the main sail slider to go down all the way to the boom. Main sail folds and lays nicely on the boom

Sails

There are 4 sails available

However exact age of all sails can only be guessed

Main sail works super well when properly trimmed, though has seen a bit better days and is approaching retirement age

Genoa on the Selden Furlex 200S is huge and in decent shape. Sheets are new from 2024. Furling line goes through a set of low friction Harken blocks, low effort to operate

Self-tacking jib seems to be the youngest of the flock, has that specific crispiness to it. Works incredibly well especially in Main Reef 1-2 conditions (usual combination). Tacking upwind is so easy.

Gennacker received a new snuffer (sock) and a bag in 2024. All control lines have spliced shackles. Original spinnaker boom has not been available and no info on its fate

Engine

Volvo Penta MD2B, original

Has never had any kind of hiccups, very reliable

Due to its age, could be cleaner and shinier

RPM instrument on the panel doesn't function properly

All filters timely replaced and oil changed

A set of spare filters, belts and impellers is included

Propeller shaft seal replaced with no leakage PSS Pro Shaft Seal in 2023

Propeller pulling tool had to be manufactured and is included

Diesel tank (120 l) has no gunk, pumping out some fuel from the bottom confirms it is clean

Electrics

Service battery - Sunwind AGM, C100 capacity 136 Ah, in good shape and has never been discharged below 90%

This battery has Victron Energy SmartShunt IP65 500A attached to it, and its state can be monitored in a mobile phone app

Engine starter battery - Bosch S4, 44 Ah. Works well, but voltage readings suggest it might need a replacement in the next years

Windlass battery - Sprinter P12V600, 26 Ah. Carries very little load usually as it's best to use windlass while the engine is running

External lights:

Port and starboard navigation lights

Stern light

Steaming light

Deck flood light

Anchor light

Tricolor light

All bulbs on the boat, including saloon lights, have been replaced with LED (!), what relieves any worries about draining the battery

Navigation

Cockpit instruments:

Depth sounder instrument - Clipper, through hull sensor installed on the starboard side

TackTick wireless wind instrument - essential sailing buddy

TackTick speed instrument, however it doesn't show any values as someone removed the sensor

Raymarine ST6002 electrical autopilot instrument - Raymarine SmartPilot X5 and fluxgate compass installed below decks

Compasses:

Cockpit compass Silva with backlight for night navigation

Old (perhaps original) compass at the main sail traveller, scratched and has no oil in it, yet works as a compass should

Spare handheld compass Silva

Maps - available a set of Finnish, Swedish and Estonian coasts

Chart plotter Radio Ocean 5. Usually we used it only to check for AIS targets, as it has outdated maps. GPS navigation would be done with a tablet and Navionics app

VHF radio, installed new one in 2025

Standard Horizon GX1850GPS with NMEA2000 support

VHF antenna installed on top of the mast

AIS receiver installed

AIS transponder - as an unfinished project bundled with the boat to install Raymarine AIS650 transponder (MMSI programmed already), Raymarine AIS100 active splitter and GPS antenna on the pushpit. This should replace the currently installed receiver-only solution

Interior

Pillows in great shape

Deep cleaned every year

New carpets from 2025

Galley:

Origo 3000 stove, 2 burners - gimbaled and very convenient, works on pretty much anything that burns. A previous owner removed gas stove and pipes, so for the better, as I reckon

Foot pump for fresh water from the bow tank of 160 litres

Fridge or actually ice box, no electric fridge compressor available

Basic set of dishes, tableware and utensils

Heads

Jabsco - properly working, might need regular maintenance soon

Septic tank installed (50 or 60 l)

There are hot air outlets in the saloon, the heater was installed by a previous owner, but dismounted by the other. It'll be a straightforward job to install a heater again

Textiles - linens, towels, etc.

Curtains renewed in 2023

Essential tools included

Windwave

Scanmar Monitor

It's an amazing crew member, we love it way more than electric steering alternatives

Especially on longer passages it makes the trip so enjoyable. Solidly steers the boat at a certain angle to wind

Installed in 2023

Anchors

Bow anchor - Rocna 15 kg + chain 30 m + rope 20 m - holds the boat with no questions

Electric windlass Lewmar Pro Series 1000 - super helpful

Spare/stern anchor - Bruce 10 kg + chain 10 m + rope 40 m (+ spare ~40 m rope)

Both anchor chains are 8 mm and have some extra 10 mm links attached via a swivel and then 10 mm lyra shackle to the anchor

Winches

All winches were serviced this year, thoroughly cleaned and greased and make that proper ratcheting "trrr" sound

Genoa winches - 2 original Lewmar 40 2-speed, with a clam-cleat behind to fix the sheet

Cockpit winch - Andersen 1-speed, self-tailing

Mast winches - 2 original Lewmar 8, 1-speed

Lines routed to the cockpit (left to right)

Reef 2

Reef 1

Main halyard

Jib sheet

Topping lift

Lines operated at the mast

Spinnaker halyard

Starboard side: main outhaul on a winch

Port side: genoa and jib halyards on a winch

Mooring lines

2 bow mooring lines with carabines and rubber snubbers

4 lines with spliced loops

All lines are solid and of good quality

Winter storage

Solid iron cradle (heavy as a bridge)

NOA deck frame with 6 arcs installed on the pulpit, 4 stanchion bases and pushpit. From 2022

Thick and sturdy PVC tent 6x10 m. From 2022

Wooden ladder

(can be discussed if any of this is part of the package if needed at the new boat's home)
