5 years ago I made my dream come true to live on a ship, a ship you can travel far away with and at the same time live comfortable.I wanted the freedom to be able to live on the sea and the freedom to be able to move/travel to where I wanted and all that I did get with the ship Stella Polaris!!


After having lived and really enjoyed the time 5 years aboard, it is now time to search for another ship together with my girlfriend, so therefore Stella Polaris is for sale.


Stella Polaris is built in the netherlands 1981 and was used as a fishing trawler in the North Sea until 2005, when the previous owners bought her, unmounted all fishing equipment, painted her and built a 25-30 square meter modernly equipped apartment in the former cooling room. Stella Polaris is built in the netherlands 1981 and was used as a fishing trawler in the North Sea until 2005, when the previous owners bought her, unmounted all fishing equipment, painted her and built a 25-30 square meter modernly equipped apartment in the former cooling room. The apartment has all ameninities like fully equipped kitchen in combination with a living room, bathroom/toilet with bathtub/shower and a bedroom with a doublebed.


In the stern resides the oroginal living space that the former fishing crew was living in when the ship was used as a fishing vessel, and holds a steering house, kitchen, 4+1 berths, shower, toilet, hallway. This separate living space is prepared for renting out via AirBnB for instance.


In the bow under the "hood" resides a big storage space and in addition a space below for even more storage alternatively if one wants to create another room in front of the bedroom.


Stella Polaris has a trade certificate A(50) which means she is allowed to travel anywhere as lonog as beeing up to 50 nm from a coastline. Most other pleasure ships above 24 meters have a "lower" certificate meaning they can not leave the archipelagos or can stay just ooutside the coastline in only small waves. Stella Polaris can handle more sea waves than probably the crew normally can handle, and there is a big fuel capacity which makes her a perfect explorer yacht.

Stella Polaris is very comfortable living on at the dock, but as stated above, she has a big potential for longer cruises as having a range of approx 4400 nautical miles at cruising speed.


The ships is well equipped regarding the navigation equipmen, in most cases in a higher class than more conventional user market nav equipment in smaller boats, see the equipment list.


The ships condition is good, hull thickness is very good.


Most of the pictures are from 2020 just before I moved in with my furniture and items, but nothing is really changed regarding stationary installed furniture or other things, so they are still representative.
